Dr. Reka Koerner
Being a dentist has been a childhood aspiration for Dr. Koerner as long as she can remember. After receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery from one of Europe’s most prestigious dental schools, Semmelweis University in Budapest, Hungary, Dr. Koerner came to the University of Minnesota to pursue a residency in dentistry and a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology. Since completing the Advanced Education in the General Dentistry program at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2004, Dr. Koerner has been licensed to practice dentistry in Minnesota and has worked as a family dentist in Monticello for the past six years.
Dr. Koerner lives near the University of Minnesota with her husband, a communications professor, and their two young daughters. When not at work, she and her family enjoy the great outdoors: biking, running, canoeing, and traveling. They also enjoy activities that connect them with their Hungarian and German heritage.
Dr. Koerner is a meticulous dentist with a cheerful and friendly demeanor. She prides herself on her soft touch and the high quality and aesthetics of her work. Making her patients feel comfortable while providing the highest quality dental care for them is Dr. Koerner’s highest priority.
